The organizations changing how the world prepares.
Survival Mastery powers some of the most respected outdoor, survival, and youth education programs in the world. From global adventure leaders to international school networks, we partner with the organizations bringing real preparedness skills to the next generation.
Bear Grylls Ventures
Bear Grylls Ventures is the global home of Bear Grylls' work — a management and production company built around one of the world's most recognized adventurers. From over 100 television series watched by more than 2 billion viewers across Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery, and NBC, to 100+ books with 20 million copies sold, BGV operates at the intersection of storytelling, education, and outdoor adventure. Anchored in a simple ethos — courage, kindness, never give up — the company exists to inspire people of every age to listen to their adventurous selves and step into challenge.
As Chief Ambassador to the World Scout Movement, Bear Grylls represents a global family of more than 55 million Scouts across 169 countries. BGV's portfolio of brands and programs — from the Survival Academy to the Explorers Camps to The EDGE — extends that influence into schools, homes, and adventures around the world.
Bear Grylls Ventures has chosen Survival Mastery as the official digital learning platform for The EDGE — the BGV youth program now being deployed across schools, colleges, and educational institutions worldwide. As BGV negotiates new partnerships globally, our platform powers the online learning experience that runs alongside the in-person training. The collaboration extends further: when BGV identifies institutional partners with broader online education needs beyond The EDGE itself, they introduce them to Survival Mastery as a trusted platform partner — a relationship built on shared values, real-world expertise, and a mutual commitment to preparing the next generation for whatever they'll face.
EDGE Ventures
EDGE Ventures is the Dubai-based investment and operating company behind The EDGE — a transformative youth education program built to develop confidence, character, and capability in the next generation. Founded to bring world-class outdoor and survival education into formal academic settings, EDGE Ventures sits at the intersection of two of the most respected names in global youth development: Bear Grylls Ventures and GEMS Education. Under CEO John Heaver's leadership, the company is building a category-defining program that combines real-world skills training with structured curriculum, delivering both inside and outside the classroom.
The EDGE is preparing to launch across GEMS Education's K-12 network in the UAE — one of the world's largest private education systems — with planned expansion into schools, colleges, and institutions globally. Every student who joins The EDGE gains access to a curriculum developed with the survival expertise of Bear Grylls and the educational rigor of one of the most respected names in international schooling.
EDGE Ventures selected Survival Mastery as the official digital learning platform for The EDGE — the technology backbone that powers every student's online experience alongside the in-person training. From scheduling and attendance to assessments, communication, and student progress tracking, our platform delivers the operational infrastructure that lets EDGE Ventures focus on what they do best: building world-class programs. The partnership extends beyond technology delivery: EDGE Ventures and Survival Mastery share equal ownership of student engagement data, governance representation in the cross-program steering committee, and a long-term commitment to scaling The EDGE worldwide.

ECCLA of Colorado
The Early Childhood Council Leadership Alliance is the hub and collective voice for Colorado's early childhood system — the statewide membership association serving all 36 Early Childhood Councils across Colorado's 64 counties. Founded as an informal collaborative in 1998 and incorporated as an independent 501(c)(3) in 2013, ECCLA advocates for the accessibility, quality, and equity of early childhood services for young children, their families, and the professionals who care for them. From scholarship programs to facility improvement grants to statewide policy advocacy, ECCLA strengthens the system that shapes Colorado's youngest learners.
In 2024 alone, ECCLA awarded $800,000 in scholarships to 270 early childhood professionals earning credentials, certificates, and degrees across 36 counties — while delivering nearly $290,000 in facility improvement funding to 81 family child care home programs across 23 counties. Their reach touches every corner of Colorado: 35 Early Childhood Councils, 64 counties, and countless families served by the workforce ECCLA exists to support.
Survival Mastery has worked with the ECC in Colorado for over five years, serving as their dedicated technology and digital infrastructure partner. Across that partnership, we've built and maintained the websites, portals, and online tools that connect the Early Childhood Council network with the families and professionals they serve. Today, we're working alongside them to bring their educational platforms into the modern age — a new generation of digital learning infrastructure designed to scale the impact of one of Colorado's most respected nonprofit organizations.
GEMS Education
GEMS Education is the largest operator of private K-12 education in the world. Founded in 1959 by Sunny Varkey on the principle that every child deserves a quality education, GEMS today operates 52 schools across the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt — delivering four world-class curricula (American, British, International Baccalaureate, and Indian) to over 200,000 students each year. With a 65-year legacy and a founding mission of putting quality education within reach of every learner, GEMS has built something rare: a global education network with the scale of an institution and the conviction of a family business.
GEMS reaches more than 200,000 students annually across its school network — supported by 10,000 teachers and school leaders, serving 98,000 families, and connected to a global community of more than 400,000 alumni. Academic performance reflects the rigor: GEMS schools average a 97% IB pass rate, significantly above the world average of 85.2%, with 1,050 graduates accepted to leading universities worldwide each year.
GEMS Education is the founding institutional home for The EDGE — the first school network where the program deploys, reaching students across GEMS's K-12 schools in the UAE. Through our work with EDGE Ventures, our platform supports GEMS instructors, students, and families as The EDGE rolls out across their network. Looking ahead, we're working alongside GEMS on the foundation for what becomes a multi-program engagement: a roadmap of programs spanning leadership development, environmental stewardship, character formation, and other areas designed to extend the GEMS vision of holistic, future-ready education. The relationship that begins with The EDGE is built to grow.

Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Builders Family Life Center is a Colorado Springs nonprofit founded in 2013 by Lisa E. Jenkins, a domestic violence survivor who turned her own story of escape and healing into an organization built for others walking the same path. KBFLC serves individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual violence — with particular focus on BIPOC communities, men, children, and young adults historically underserved by traditional support systems.
Kingdom Builders operates at the intersection of crisis and transformation — meeting survivors at their most vulnerable moments and walking with them through recovery. Their services span violence prevention and interruption, youth development and mentorship, emergency housing assistance, advocacy, and community education. By centering communities often overlooked by mainstream services — including the rare and critical work of supporting male survivors of domestic violence — KBFLC has built a reputation as the place in Colorado Springs that listens, believes, and helps survivors find their footing again.
Kingdom Builders is a strategic partner of Survival Mastery — one of two organizations partnering with us as brand ambassadors and champions of the work we do. Together with Kingdom Builders, we're launching a pilot program designed to bring online education to youth and adults navigating abuse, recovery, and toxic home environments — an audience whose needs traditional education platforms aren't built to meet. Over the next year we'll be building out a full curriculum together, designed specifically for the communities KBFLC serves. The work begins with what matters most: showing up for people who need it.
Scouting America
Scouting America is the largest scouting organization in the United States and one of the country's most iconic youth development institutions. Founded in 1910 and rebranded in 2025 from the Boy Scouts of America to reflect its now fully inclusive programs, Scouting America serves more than one million young people through Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Exploring. Holding one of the rare Congressional Charters granted under Title 36 of the U.S. Code, the organization carries 115 years of legacy, the Scout Oath and Law, and the conviction that young people prepared through character, leadership, and service become the citizens this country needs.
More than 130 million Americans have participated in Scouting since 1910, with over 2.75 million earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Today, one million active youth are supported by 477,000 adult volunteers across all 50 states, contributing more than 7 million hours of community service annually. As a founding member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, Scouting America belongs to the global Scout family of 55 million young people that Bear Grylls serves as Chief Ambassador.
Survival Mastery is actively working with Scouting America's National Council on a platform deployment designed to bring the full Scouting experience into a modern digital environment. We've built a complete demonstration covering scout course progression, merit badge tracking, troop leader command centers, council-level dashboards, AI-powered learning support, and revenue-sharing infrastructure across troop, council, and national levels. The deployment is in active evaluation, with the goal of giving Scouting America a digital platform that honors the rigor of the Scout Oath and the realities of how today's families engage with learning.

Xi Pi Uplift Foundation
The Xi Pi Uplift Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2003, serving the Pikes Peak Region through scholarships, youth development, leadership programs, and community service. As the charitable arm of the Xi Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., one of the historic Divine Nine fraternities founded at Howard University in 1911, Uplift carries forward a century-old legacy of brotherhood, scholarship, and service. From the Omega Showboat and the High School Talent Hunt to the Educating Children of Color Summit and the African American Youth Leadership Conference, every program is designed to lift the next generation while strengthening the community at home.
Since 2003, the Xi Pi Uplift Foundation has awarded over $328,000 in scholarships and grants to local high school students, funded college endowments across the region, and supported community institutions ranging from the Care and Share Food Bank to Kingdom Builders Family Life Center. Their work reaches young people through mentorship, alternative-sentencing programs like Teen Court, and the kind of consistent, decades-long community presence that makes lasting change possible.
Uplift Foundation is a strategic partner of Survival Mastery and one of two organizations partnering with us as brand ambassadors and champions of the work we do. Uplift's Signature Sponsor relationship with us reflects a shared belief that real community change comes from investing in young people and the people who serve them. Through Uplift, we've also been introduced to Kingdom Builders Family Life Center, where we're now launching a pilot program designed to bring online education to youth and adults navigating abuse and recovery. The partnership represents what we mean when we say we want to work with organizations doing the real work in their communities.
What working with us looks like.
Your curriculum, your experts, your brand. We provide the platform that powers it — not a template you have to fit into.
Multi-tenant architecture, role-based dashboards, attendance and assessment infrastructure, and the reporting your stakeholders expect.
Shared governance, shared data ownership, shared investment in long-term outcomes. We win when you win.
We've done this. We know what schools, scouts, and youth programs need because we've worked alongside them — not because a focus group told us.
Have a program we should know about?
Whether you're running a youth program, an outdoor education initiative, or a curriculum looking for the right platform to power it — we want to hear from you. Tell us a little about what you're building, and we'll be in touch.
